Nokia
successfully teamed up with Deadmau5 to launch their two latest handsets
- the Lumia 820 and Lumia 920.
A ‘super secretive’ event gave hundreds of competition
winners, staff & commercial partners, 700 media and industry influencers
the chance to witness an exclusive gig. More than 20,000 people around the
world tuned in to a live feed of the event too.
The popular Canadian electro-house music producer Deadmau5
used immersive visual technology to enable the square in Southwark to be
‘played’ like a musical instrument.
The event, supported by Mission PR,
successfully grabbed the attention of thousands and was able to gain press
coverage surrounding the launch of Lumia phones. It came exactly a year to the
day since Mission PR, Nokia & Deadmau5 collaborated to launch
the Lumia 800 with a projection show on Millbank Tower.
